This is a fabulous and powerful and unapologetic and authentic and wonderful talk. A great 18 minutes of video.

Our viewing of this video followed a three minute viewing of why Steward Brand thinks Squatter Cities are a good thing. I couldn't read the slides Stewart put up, but what i heard (eg, "there is no unemployment in squatter cities, everyone works") unimpressed me. Yeah, it's good to ask questions like that, and we can ask similarly provocative questions like "Why is cancer a good thing?," but better is Majora Carter and the questions she asks and the solutions she finds. Better are the questions that lead to the transformation of Bogata. Better the questions of Jane Jacobs.

It's better to ask for permission then forgiveness.

She's brilliant.
